We Are The Indian Manufacturer And Supplier Of Threading Taps As Per Below Specification
Roughing Tap
the Straps eight fluted made undersize to reduce the load on the finishing tap and particularly for difficult tapping operations. Recommended for use when tapping steels o close tolerance fits as required, reducing wear on the finishing tap.
Finishing Tap
Hand or machine tapping for through holes and blind holes where ample chip clearance is available. The lead chamfer permits easier starting and requires less tapping torque than bottoming taps.
Bottoming Tap
Used for tapping blind holes when maximum full form threads are required in minimum depth holes.
Spiral Flute Tap
Tap designed with spiral flutes in the same “hand” as the thread. This directs the swarf backwards out of the hole. Recommended for blind or deep hole applications in soft (eg. Aluminium) materials. Due to the suitability blind hole tapping the lead chamfer is normally that of a bottoming tap.
Spiral Point Tap
Designed primarily as a machine tap for tapping through holes. The Spiral Point is formed in the lead teeth at an angle to the tap axis. The swarf, due to the cutting action, is pushed forwards ahead of the tap. The flutes of the spiral point tap serve only to deliver coolant to the cutting edges, therefore much shallower flutes are used. Subsequently the tap has greater strength and makes precise tapping possible.
Not recommended on abrasive materials :
1. Standard Taps as per IS, DIN, ISO, British standards in all thread forms and pitches.
2. Special Taps including Left Hand Taps, Taps with Profiles like Acme, Trapezoidal, Buttress, Pg etc. and Taps as per your drawings. We produce above taps in HSS M2 grade but we can offer taps in HSS M35 and M42 grades.
3. Thread Milling Cutters, Pipe Threading Systems, Tap Wrenches and Die Stocks.
We Are The Manufacturer And Supplier Of Threading Dia In India
The Details Of The Product Specification Is As Below
Threading dies are used to form or cut a male thread on the outside of rod or bars. Threading dies provide precision in cutting and extend the life of a die by reducing wear. Taps and dies are the tools used for cutting threads. A male thread (bolt) is fed between rollers that have the full thread form grounded into their outer diameter. The lobes mould the material into the required thread form and shape. Threading dies are used for either thread cutting or thread forming. Thread cutting can be internal or external. For large volume productions or for greater strength, threads are rolled for thread forming. Threading dies use rolled thread that has greater strength than a cut thread, though it usually requires more energy to roll a thread than cutting the thread.
Threading Dies have several variations including top adjusting screws, side adjusting screws or non adjustable screws. There are a variety of ways in which threading dies function. Threading dies cut a male thread and are used with taps which cut the mating female threads. A metric threading die represents thread by pitch instead of inch which is the method of thread designation in the United States. In metric thread dies, the thread pitch is specified in millimeters. A metric threading die is fundamentally different because the thread pitch is specified instead of threads per inch, or threads per millimeter. There are generally three types of taps: taper, plug, and bottoming. A tap cuts a female thread on the inside surface of a predrilled hole. A tap is lobed and does not have any cutting edges. It is forced into a hole and the material is changed into the required thread form by the lobes. Die head tap threading is used in the high volume production of threaded components. A chaser is inserted into the die head and the die head is closed bringing the chasers down to a cutting position. When sufficient length of thread has been cut, the head of the threading dies opens to allow the head to retract rapidly without interfering with the new thread formed. Threading dies are designed and manufactured to meet most industry specifications.
Threading dies are used in a variety of applications. Threading dies are commonly used in industrial metal working. Threading dies are used for repairing threads in stripped holes or bolts. Rolled threading dies have an increased advantage of strength, longer life, and reduced material cost. Taps are used in motorcycles, cars, and industrial machinery. Threading dies are also used for rethreading jammed pipes
We generally supply :
Circular split dies
Circular Solid Dies
Hex Die Nut
However, ground thread dies (lapped finish) can also be supplied.HSS Dies are generally produced from M2 grade. However, we can supply in M35 grade against specific requirement.Kindly note that our HSS DIES/DIE NUTS have GROUND RELEIF.This unique feature gives better cutting efficiency and improved thread finish.
